Lom Lobendava je částečně zatopený lom Lobendava u hranice s Německem, v nejsevernější obci České republiky, který je hluboko v lesích poskytuje dokonalé útočiště pro člověka toužícího po klidu a svobodě. Najdeme zde les, skály vodní plochu nebo třeba divokou zvěř. Dům je postaven v nejvýchodnější části, na přírodní plošině mezi dvěma skalními stržemi asi 13 m nad vodní hladinou. Plošina je téměř nejvyšším bodem celého lomu. Toto umístění umožňuje ty nejlepší výhledy nejenom na lom samotný, ale také na jeho okolí.
Jedná se o jednopodlažní dřevostavu, složenou ze 3 jednoduchých, nepravidelně uspořádaných objektů se sedlovou střechou, kterými prostupuje horizontální transparentní hmota. Architektonická koncepce je dána několika zásadami: dům je přímo v lomu, nikoliv u lomu, jeho konzoly směřují za výhledy přímo do jeho středu. Reliéf kráteru ponechat co možná nejvíc nedotčen dům posadit do vzduchu na podpory. Převládajím materiálem bude dřevo. Fasáda i střecha je pokyty stejným materiálem, dům tak dostavá celistvý výraz.
Opláštění objektů se sedlovou střechou řešeno předsazenou fasádou z cedrového dřeva stejnou pro stěny i střechu. Objekty s rovnou střechou jsou opláštěny hliníkovými deskami. Na budově se nacházejí dva typy oken – masivní dřevěné žluté rámy lícující s předsazenou fasádou a neotvíravé zasklení s tenkým rámečkem. Vstupní dveře jsou dřevěné plné žluté barvy. Garážová vrata jsou hliníková. Vnější zábradlí na balkónech a terasách je hlíníkové sloupkové (v=1000 mm).
